“Use of censorship”, 2028
Andrii Kyrychenko

“Use of censorship” is the last work in the author’s triptych on the history of art. The three hyperrealistic pieces that make it up are made entirely of ceramic. The first takes the form of a vase which embodies the utilitarian function of the object. The second, “Use of censorship”, represents the irruption of politics into art. The last is an ironic installation made of four protective poles connected by ribbons (all also made of ceramic) as we see them in museums or airports, with the sole exception that they do not protect anything at all.
