“Asana”, 2023
Andrii Kyrychenko
This sculpture can be placed outdoors.
This work is a continuation of the "Puzatka" series that the artist started in 2021 in Ukraine. Between the abstract and the figurative, the series studies the interaction of primitive pottery elements in the representation of a female body.
On the artist's technique:
"It is the power of gravity and the properties of the material used that unite the different elements of the sculpture. The work comes to life when the material gains freedom. The details of folds of skin emerge in the handling. of the material."
