"The model of the sculpture was made in Ukraine in 2020. After the start of the war, I took it with me to France. This work was carried out in Paris. If this sculpture does not have a face, it is to restore its organic form. This body is marked by difficult changes: accepting reality as it is and continuing the path. I covered the surface of the work with the verses of André Breton "Ainsi va la vie"... I find that this sculpture has a strong resonance with the verses of this poet as well as with his life. In the cracks and fractures, life continues despite trials."
